Visiting Dublin

Dublin is a vibrant and lively city, with easy access to coastal walks, beautiful mountains, and all the ‘ceol agus craic’ you would expect from the capital city of Ireland.

There is so much to do in the city and its surroundings, that you may wish to book some additional time either before or after the conference.

If this is your first visit to Dublin, you might find this general introduction helpful.

If you are looking to find out more about Irish history and what it means to be Irish, the Irish Emigration Museum, EPIC, is just around the corner from National College of Ireland.

You can also find out if you have any Irish roots by visiting the Irish Family History Centre to trace your family ancestry.

Ireland is a small island, so you may also wish to explore further afield.

Dublin Shopping

You may wish to visit Henry Street Shopping quarter, or Grafton St, both of which are located close to NCI on foot, bus or tram.
